CDL Driver
Hourly Range: competitive wages based on experience and qualifications
Typical Driver Hours: Depending on Location 5am – 4pm Monday – Friday
At JOHNS, driver will be given their “own” truck to drive each day. We also work to assign consistent routes each week for all our drivers.
Non-CDL Driver – (Up the Drive / UTD)
We’re hiring a Non-CDL Driver (Up the Drive / UTD) to support daily service operations.
This hands-on role keeps you active in the field while making a direct impact on
customer satisfaction and service reliability.
What You’ll Do
This is a field-based role—you’ll be on the road and working outdoors every day.
– Complete Up the Drive (UTD) pickups at residential properties
– Deliver, repair, and replace containers
– Assist with missed pickups and special service requests
– Assist in community related services when needed
– Safely load and transport waste and recycling
– Use tablets and routing tools to manage daily work
– Communicate with team members and customers
What We’re Looking For
– Valid driver’s license (no CDL required) and clean driving record
– Ability to lift 50–60 pounds and work outdoors year-round
– Strong driving, communication, and time management skills
– Self-motivated and dependable
– Driving or delivery experience preferred

2nd Shift Lube Technician: Norway
Keep Our Fleet Running Strong.
Johns Disposal Service is looking for a dependable 2nd Shift Lube Technician to join our maintenance team. If you enjoy working on heavy-duty trucks, take pride in quality preventative maintenance, and want to work for a stable, family-owned company, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on our fleet of refuse trucks
- Change engine oil and filters
- Replace air, fuel, hydraulic, transmission, and coolant filters
- Move trucks safely through the shop
- Identify maintenance issues before they become breakdowns
- Help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently

Make a Direct Impact on Safety
We’re looking for a proactive EHS Coordinator to help strengthen safety and
environmental compliance across our operations. This is a hands-on role for someone
who enjoys being in the field, working with teams, and driving real improvements.
What You’ll Do
This is not a desk-only job—you’ll spend significant time in yards, shops, and facilities
observing work, identifying risks, and supporting employees.
– Conduct safety audits, inspections, and observations
– Identify hazards and ensure follow-through on corrective actions
– Assist with incident investigations and reporting
– Train employees on safe work practices and material handling
– Support environmental compliance and documentation
– Maintain OSHA logs and safety records
– Travel to multiple locations for on-site support
What We’re Looking For
– Relevant degree or equivalent experience in EHS/safety
– Valid driver’s license
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Comfortable working independently in active, industrial environments
